Formed in the fall of 2010, Grand Theft Audio 3 is the preordained culmination of musical journeys, professional experiences, and long term friendship. This 3 piece band, hailing from Phoenix Arizona, set out to create new original music based on the member’s diverse musical taste. Drawing from influences like The Police, Stevie Wonder, and Incubus, GTA 3 balances Dance and Rock with Pop and Soul to create songs that are as much fun to play as they are to listen to.

Playing bass guitar and singing lead vocals, Donovan Mote has been performing publicly since age 4. He brings his experienced talent with live bands, musical theatre, acting, and live event production to GTA 3 in the form of accomplished musical endowment and occasional comic relief. Director of Operations for Pro Production Services, Donovan oversees event productions for Grammy winners, superstars, and Heads of State.

Curt Cottle’s musical proficiency originates from his influences of Dennis Chambers, Tony Royster Jr., and Neil Peart. A gifted drummer, Curt draws from many years’ experience in live bands, session recording, and record producing. He is a dedicated scholar of music and provides the rhythmic foundation upon which Grand Theft Audio 3 depends on for maximum funktastic success.

Holding down the melody on guitar and singing backup vocals, Tim Triplett is the consummate musical tactician. Having shared stages with acts such as Less Than Jake and Marylyn Manson, Tim brings his skill of the stage with vibrant ferocity. In addition to a background in jazz studies, Tim has also provided music for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Coyotes through Fox Sports News Arizona.
